Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2,500 hours Pilot-in-Command hours documented and verifiable preferred
  • Exceptions made based on experience in like environment and aircraft
  • 500 turbine hours
  • Commercial-instrument Helicopter Rating
  • Ability to communicate effectively with outstanding customer service
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Team player with ability to work independently
  • Ability to establish effective relationships with team members and public
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Valid Commercial Pilot License
  • Current Class II flight physical and medical certificate
  • Clearance on TSA/FBI background check
  • Participation in FAA Drug and Alcohol Testing Program
  • Ability to work safely in extreme heat and cold
  • Ability to lift 35 pounds regularly
  • Ability to bend, stoop, and reach over shoulders

  • Current Class II flight physical and medical certificate
  • Clearance on TSA/FBI background check

Job Duties

  • Ensure that the required aircraft items and equipment are on board
  • Check aircraft maintenance logs and daily log sheets for compliance and defects
  • Perform preflight inspections and verify airworthiness
  • Ensure proper aircraft loading within weight and center of gravity limits
  • Check current weather, NOTAMS, PIREPS, and other flight information
  • Brief passengers on boarding, in-flight, deplaning, and emergency procedures
  • File company or FAA flight plans for all flights
  • Maintain valid FAA Airline Transport or Commercial Pilot certificates with appropriate ratings
  • Pass flight checks and comply with regulatory requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned
