Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED certification
- Two years of experience in the food and beverage industry
- Previous supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of applicable beverage regulations and policies
- Excellent guest service skills and ability to upsell
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to lead and work effectively within a team
- Proficiency in English language reading, writing, and speaking
- Basic math skills
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and point-of-sale systems
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to multitask and manage time efficiently
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Must follow grooming and safety guidelines
- Must obtain food handler card within 30 days
- Must obtain alcohol sales and handling training within 30 days and retrain biennially
- Must be 21 years or older to serve distilled spirits
- Must obtain and maintain Gaming License
- Native American hiring preference
Job Qualifications

- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- Computer proficiency including Microsoft Office, email, internet, and point-of-sale systems (Infogenesis preferred)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to establish effective working relationships
- Ability to work at a rapid pace while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong multitasking and time management skills
- Ability to maintain composure during high-volume periods
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events
- Ability to uphold etiquette and guest service standards
- Must follow safety guidelines and grooming standards
- Must maintain uniforms properly
- Must obtain food handler card within 30 days
- Must complete mandatory alcohol sales and handling training within 30 days and retrain every two years
- Must be 21 or older to serve distilled spirits
- Must apply for and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Agency
- Native American hiring preference applies
Job Duties
- Ensure all liquor laws are adhered to and enforced by staff at all times
- Perform all administrative duties and manage day-to-day operations in the absence of the Beverage Manager
- Deliver exceptional guest service using proper greeting and departure phrases and service standards
- Collaborate with beverage management to schedule staff for maximum productivity
- Develop weekly and monthly forecasts of revenues and costs with beverage management
- Maintain monthly inventory and control of operational equipment
- Conduct daily walk-throughs of beverage service areas to identify and address deficiencies
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure compliance with liquor service policies
- Monitor beverage activities throughout the casino for regulatory adherence
- Supervise staff and assist with disciplinary and human resource-related actions
- Assist with selection, development, training, and coaching of beverage staff
- Ensure compliance with grooming and uniform standards
- Maintain a safe working environment for all team members
- Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
