Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food or beverage service preferred
- Valid Food Handling Certification
- Basic math proficiency
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Physical ability to meet job demands including lifting and standing
- Commitment to safety and hygiene standards
- Capability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Adherence to company dress code
- Willingness to follow all safety regulations including PPE use
Job Qualifications
- Experience in customer service roles preferred
- Previous cash handling experience a plus
- Barista background preferred but not mandatory
- Basic math skills and accurate counting ability
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong English reading, communication, and recipe adherence skills
- Food Handling Certification required
- Adherence to designated attire standards
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and prolonged walking and standing
- Willingness to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary
Job Duties
- Process financial transactions using register or POS system including cash and credit card payments
- Greet and assist customers anticipating their needs to ensure a positive experience
- Prepare coffee, tea, and specialty beverages following brand guidelines
- Prepare and serve food items according to establishment standards
- Organize and reconcile cash register, complete cashier's slips accurately, and deposit funds as needed
- Follow cash management procedures and guidelines
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of coffee bar and service areas
- Sanitize equipment regularly to ensure hygiene
- Stock drink coolers, quick-grab snacks, and serving necessities
- Comply with health and safety regulations for food and drink preparation
- Follow management instructions and take on additional responsibilities as assigned
