Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
  • One to three years related supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Appropriate licenses as required
  • ServSafe certification or ability to become certified
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards required
  • Level 2 Gaming License required
  • Ability to read and interpret policy and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write effective reports and memos
  • Ability to communicate effectively in diverse group settings
  • Ability to perform mathematical calculations including rates and percentages
  • Ability to apply common sense reasoning
  • Physical ability to stand, walk frequently, use hands for handling objects, and occasionally lift up to 25 lb
  • Ability to work in moderate to loud and sometimes smoky casino environments

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Supervises and trains Beverage Shift Supervisors, Dual Rate Supervisors, Servers, Bartenders, and Barbacks on assigned shifts
  • Ensures smooth and efficient service to guests and adherence to C.A.R.E., Liquor Control Guidelines, ServSafe, and gaming regulations
  • Creates, posts, and modifies employee schedules
  • Oversees floor operations to ensure guest satisfaction and compliance
  • Calibrates and monitors automatic beverage systems and coordinates maintenance
  • Conducts pre-shift meetings and assigns stations
  • Handles employee relations including coaching, documentation, and performance appraisals
  • Reviews and makes staffing decisions such as hiring, transferring, and disciplining
  • Monitors business volumes and adjusts staffing accordingly
  • Completes administrative reports and departmental programs timely
  • Manages budget compliance, labor, and revenue benchmarks
  • Conducts monthly inventory and daily beverage orders
  • Monitors job performances and provides developmental feedback
  • Oversees guest alcohol consumption and related safety procedures
  • Collaborates with management to address operational issues and special events
  • Participates in staff meetings and maintains effective communication
  • Ensures compliance with health, safety, and legal standards
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
