Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred
  • One to three years related supervisory experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills required
  • Appropriate licenses as required
  • ServSafe certification or ability to become certified required
  • Knowledge of HACCP standards required
  • Level 2 Gaming License required

  • Level 2 Gaming License required

Job Duties

  • Supervises and trains beverage shift supervisors, dual rate supervisors, servers, bartenders, and barbacks on assigned shifts
  • Ensures smooth and efficient service to guests and adherence to C.A.R.E., liquor control guidelines, ServSafe, and gaming regulations
  • Creates, posts, and modifies employee schedules
  • Ensures floor operations are run smoothly and efficiently to ensure guest satisfaction and compliance
  • Calibrates and monitors automatic beverage systems and contacts vendors for maintenance and repairs
  • Oversees and assists with pre-shift meetings, assigns stations, and facilitates information flow
  • Handles employee relations issues and enforces departmental policies including coaching, documentation, and performance appraisals
  • Reviews and makes personnel recommendations including hiring, transfers, suspensions, promotions, discharges, evaluations, assignments, and discipline
  • Monitors business volumes and adjusts floor coverage and schedules accordingly
  • Completes administrative reports, schedules, forms, and departmental programs within set timeframes
  • Maximizes cost effectiveness by ensuring compliance with budget, labor, and revenue benchmarks
  • Conducts monthly inventory of bars, ensures accurate liquor reporting and compliance with internal processes
  • Completes daily beverage orders
  • Monitors job performance and provides feedback to employees and supervisors
  • Monitors guest alcohol consumption and enforces alcohol-related policies and procedures
  • Confers with management concerning operational deficiencies and priorities
  • Sets priorities for beverage shift supervisors and provides assistance
  • Trains and certifies employees in proper service standards
  • Works with management to coordinate special events
  • Attends all required staff meetings
  • Maintains communication and cooperation with management and coworkers
  • Ensures compliance with health and safety standards as well as all beverage, federal, state, and local laws
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
