Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time
- Ability to use hands and fingers to handle and feel
- Use hands and arms to reach
- Use legs and feet to balance, stoop, kneel or crouch
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 40 lbs
- Ability to utilize vision or other powers of observation to review documents and computer screens
- Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations including obtaining a license
- Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
- Must have at least two years of experience in bar operations
Job Qualifications
- A two (2)-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience
- Minimum of two (2) to four (4) years of experience with bar operations, supervising, and processes
- Knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control laws
- Familiarity with Health Department, OSHA and Gaming Regulations
- Excellent service, communication, and organizational skills
- Objective analytical and effective prioritization skills
- Ability to analyze and interpret departmental/company goals
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in stressful environments
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially
- Effective communication in one-on-one, small group and large group situations
- Proven integrity, confidentiality, teamwork and positive attitude in achieving goals
Job Duties
- Assist with the development and managing of the beverage department budget
- Supervise programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries
- Schedule staffing levels to maintain consistent employment and positive guest experience
- Develop staff including training, interviewing, performance management and disciplinary counseling
- Assist with coordination and supervision of department financial data
- Review beverage activities and promotions with Beverage Manager
- Monitor and adjust bar performance relative to local competition
- Meet with departmental directors and managers as necessary
- Ensure compliance with Alcohol Beverage Control laws
- Maintain knowledge of Health Department, OSHA and Gaming Regulations
