Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous customer service experience preferred
- Food Handling Certification completion required
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work flexible hours including potential weekends and holidays
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Good communication skills in English
- Must adhere to company dress code and grooming standards
Job Qualifications
- Previous exposure to customer service is preferred
- Experience in handling cash is advantageous
- Previous barista experience is not required
- Basic understanding of math concepts and ability to count accurately
- Ability to work alone with limited supervision
- Proficiency in English communication and recipe adherence
- Completion of Food Handling Certification as mandated
- Ability to conform to designated attire expectations
- Capable of physical activities including lifting bending pushing pulling and extended periods of walking and standing
- Familiarity with Personal Protective Equipment use
Job Duties
- Efficiently handle payment processing using a register/POS system including cash and credit card transactions
- Greet and help clients forecasting their needs to facilitate a positive encounter
- Comply with brand expectations in preparation and service of coffee tea and specialized beverages
- Adhere to set standards of the facility when preparing and delivering food items to customers
- Ensure cash drawer accuracy complete necessary paperwork for cashier duties and handle bank deposits securely
- Observe and follow cash management guidelines and procedures at Aramark
- Establish and break down coffee bar workstations or retail space prioritizing cleanliness and organization
- Clean and sanitize equipment to maintain sanitary workspace
- Maintain ready supply of beverage coolers grab-and-go selections serving tools and condiments
- Ensure food and drink preparation comply with health and safety regulations
- Execute extra duties assigned by management team
