Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining, casual, and/or nightclub environment preferred
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with guests and team members
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift, pull, or push up to 50 pounds
- Must acquire and maintain a valid Food Handlers Card
- Alcohol Awareness Certification
- Willingness to work varied schedules including events
- Ability to maintain professional appearance and demeanor
- Completed or willing to complete Suspicious Activity and other compliance training
- Team-oriented attitude
- Attention to detail
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining, casual, and/or nightclub is preferred
- In-depth wine and alcohol knowledge preferred
- Food service job experience for two (2) years
- Must acquire and maintain a valid Food Handlers Card
- Alcohol Awareness Certification
- Suspicious Activity and other required compliance trainings
Job Duties
- Answers beverage questions posed by guests
- Maintains knowledge of beverage menu and any special items being offered
- Observes guests and anticipates beverage needs and completes all steps of service as assigned
- Provides quick, attentive, friendly and professional service to casino guests while communicating in a clear and concise manner
- Accurately records all sales in the POS
- Ensures the quality and presentation meets or exceeds the expectations of the guest
- Ensures cleanliness of beverage area when necessary
- Pushes in chairs on the casino floor as well as assists in picking up trash
- Complies with all alcohol awareness and service policies and procedures with regard to alcohol service
- Performs proper table maintenance and buses tables when necessary during peak periods
- Stocks beverage station(s) (ice, juices, glassware, sugar packets, etc.) based on anticipated need guest or venue
- Completes all other cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned by management
- Ensures and collects appropriate guest payment for beverage service
- Maintains a professional and tidy appearance at all times
- Communicates in a positive, respectful manner to both internal and external guests
- Must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events and varied schedules per business need
- Performs other duties as assigned
