Job Requirements
- Must acquire and maintain a valid Food Handlers Card
- Must acquire and maintain Alcohol Awareness Certification
- Must complete Suspicious Activity and other required compliance trainings
- Ability to work on feet for long periods of time
- Ability to lift, pull or push up to 50 lbs
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events and varied schedules per business need
Job Qualifications
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-volume fine dining, casual, and/or nightclub is preferred
- In-depth wine and alcohol knowledge preferred
- Food service job experience for two (2) years
- Ability to maintain excellent attendance and be available for varied schedules
- Effective communication skills
- Understanding of alcohol awareness and service policies
- Ability to maintain a professional appearance
- Team-oriented mindset
Job Duties
- Answers beverage questions posed by guests
- Maintains knowledge of beverage menu and any special items being offered
- Observes guests and anticipates beverage needs and completes all steps of service as assigned
- Provides quick, attentive, friendly and professional service to casino guests while communicating in a clear and concise manner
- Accurately records all sales in the POS
- Ensures the quality and presentation meets or exceeds the expectations of the guest
- Ensures cleanliness of beverage area when necessary
- Pushes in chairs on the casino floor as well as assists in picking up trash
- Complies with all alcohol awareness and service policies and procedures with regard to alcohol service
- Performs proper table maintenance and buses tables when necessary during peak periods
- Stocks beverage station(s) such as ice, juices, glassware, sugar packets, etc. based on anticipated need guest or venue
- Completes all other cleaning and sanitation duties as assigned by management
- Maintains a clean and stocked beverage station and completes all side work in a timely and satisfactory manner to ensure a clean, neat work area with adequate supply level
- Ensures and collects appropriate guest payment for beverage service
- Maintains a professional and tidy appearance at all times
- Communicates in a positive, respectful manner to both internal and external guests
- Must maintain excellent attendance and be available to work events and varied schedules per business need
- Performs other duties as assigned
