Job Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- must be 21 years of age
- previous experience as a waitress preferred
- ability to communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members
- excellent guest service skills
- able to read, write legibly, understand and speak English
- able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- able to work banquets and special events
- able to stand and walk for up to four hours wearing one-inch heels
- ability to work in a fast-paced and often crowded environment
- basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
- ability to interpret a variety of instructions
- must project a professional and positive image
- high energy level

Job Duties
- Observe guests to respond to their needs
- follow alcohol awareness procedures regarding responsible beverage service
- monitor guest consumption and intervene as needed
- take beverage orders and communicate them to the bartender
- assist in the preparation and presentation of drinks
- serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to casino guests
- request identification from customers when legal age is questionable
- remove empty or dirty glasses and bottles and return them to bar or kitchen
- keep service area stocked and clean
- provide fast, exceptional service and receive satisfaction comments
- handle money according to procedure and secure all monies at the end of each shift
- maintain quick and prompt service while maintaining a smile
- maintain round times of 20 minutes or less on casino floor for drink service
- carry full trays of no more than 20 drinks
- adhere to department and property policies and procedures
- serve as an ambassador of goodwill
- work well with others including beverage servers, bartenders, and supervisors
- resolve service problems according to guidelines
- provide personalized service and use guest names
- speak positively when talking with guests and co-workers
- promote casino events and programs
- accept consequences of not adhering to standards which may include discipline
- uphold the company mission statement and represent Bally’s in a positive manner
