Job Requirements
- High school degree or GED preferred
- Recent restaurant or bar service experience preferred
- Must be 19 years of age or older
- No felony, theft or stealing convictions
- Must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screening and background check
- Ability to obtain and maintain gaming license
- Ability to obtain Food Handler's card
- Ability to obtain TIPS certification
- Ability to communicate, read and write basic English
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to work evenings, graveyards, holidays, and weekends
- Ability to work in a noisy environment with exposure to second-hand smoke
Job Qualifications
- High school degree or GED preferred
- Recent experience in restaurant, serving, hosting or bartending preferred
- Must be at least 19 years old
- Must pass pre-employment drug and alcohol screening
- Ability to obtain and maintain gaming license
- Knowledge of dining and food service operations
- Knowledge of Arizona Title 4 Liquor Laws
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures
- Knowledge of bar items, liquors and pricing
- Skilled in using POS systems
- Commitment to following internal controls
- Ability to obtain Food Handler's card
- Ability to obtain TIPS certification
- Strong communication skills in English
- Demonstrated outstanding guest service skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, stressful environment
Job Duties
- Become familiar with spirits, wine, champagne and cocktails
- Become familiar with drink prices and proper measurement
- Learn and follow all Arizona Title 4 Liquor Laws and Desert Diamond Casino alcohol controls
- Serve alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages to casino guests ensuring legal drinking age compliance
- Learn and consistently follow standard service techniques
- Operate Point of Sale (POS) system and compute bills with basic math skills
- Provide excellent guest service by regularly checking on guests
- Maintain cleanliness of casino including ashtrays, floors, and service tables
- Adhere to all Arizona Title 4 Liquor Laws and TOGE internal controls
- Serve guests in a responsive, caring, prompt and courteous manner
- Respond to guests' requests
- Maintain high energy and motivated personality
- Operate POS cash register
- Stock service station
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of work areas
- Monitor guests for intoxication and follow proper procedures
- Inform guests about all Food & Beverage outlets and casino promotions when asked
- Maintain good communication with team members
- Contribute to team efforts and accomplish related results
- Collaborate with other departments for seamless service delivery
- Assume additional responsibilities as assigned by management
