Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to obtain required alcohol service certifications
- Previous experience in customer service or bartender roles preferred
- Ability to handle cash and process payments accurately
- Physical ability to handle items up to 25 lbs
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Qualifications
- Having worked as a bartender previously is a plus
- Understanding of bartending essentials, cocktail mixes, and contemporary trends in the field
- Certification: Knowledgeable and capable of obtaining all essential alcohol service certifications mandated by both Aramark and state/local regulations
- Demonstrates phenomenal hospitality by displaying friendliness and a thorough knowledge of beverages
- Shows a high level of skill in organizing tasks, multitasking effectively, and paying close attention to detail and accuracy
- Physical Requirements: Involves periodic handling, transporting, pushing, or pulling items weighing up to 25 lbs
- Finds satisfaction in a dynamic and fun-filled workplace
- Candidates who are open to working flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, will be considered desirable
Job Duties
- Greet customers, note down their orders, and manage monetary transactions through processing cash and credit card payments
- Serve a combination of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to those in attendance
- Serve drinks to servers from the service well, as necessary
- Follow the established alcohol service policies and safe drinking guidelines, including verifying patrons' ages to confirm they meet the minimum legal requirements for consuming alcohol
- Follow the specified protocols and procedures for the handling of cash
- Set up and dismantle workstations, with a priority on sanitizing and cleaning protocols
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure products are stocked at the right levels
- Ensure guest contentment by offering excellent service and anticipating and fulfilling their needs
- Portray a positive behavior towards guests, clients, and colleagues
- Uphold the safety of organizational assets
