Job Requirements

Must provide proof of age (18 or 21 depending on state legislation)
Complete basic food handling training and obtain any necessary local or state certifications
Participate in Safe Alcohol Service training if working with alcohol
Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Consistent and punctual attendance is required
Display an energetic and friendly attitude throughout shifts
Provide excellent guest service at all times
Proficient in cash handling and possess basic math skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse guests
Ability to work well within a team and independently
Takes direction promptly and responds with a sense of urgency

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is preferred
Knowledge of food and beverage service, including alcohol handling
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in cash handling and basic math
Demonstrated ability to provide excellent guest service consistently
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to learn and apply safety and sanitation procedures

Job Duties

Welcome guests with a bright smile and professional demeanor
Demonstrate complete knowledge of bar and menu items to enhance the guest experience
Accurately record food and beverage orders swiftly
Manage transactions on the assigned register, ensuring a proper cash balance and reporting any discrepancies
Verify guest identification to confirm they are at least 21 years old for all alcohol transactions
Ensure alcohol is consumed in designated areas only
Utilize suggestive selling techniques consistently
Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure accurate food orders
Regularly sanitize high-contact areas for both employees and guests
Utilize personal protective equipment appropriately while performing tasks
Adapt to the frequency and scope of cleaning tasks as required
Monitor safety and security concerns and report them to management
Perform additional work-related duties as needed
