Job Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED or equivalent
  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • ability to pass a stringent background investigation
  • ability to successfully complete pre-employment and random drug screenings
  • ability to work long hours under stressful conditions
  • ability to work flexible hours including days, nights, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and overtime
  • ability to lift at least 25 lbs
  • punctual and regular attendance
  • good physical condition to perform required job activities such as walking, standing for long periods, bending, reaching, and other movements outlined in the physical requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent
  • must be at least 21 years of age
  • experience in restaurant or food service capacity preferred
  • understanding of beverage service procedures and protocols
  • knowledge of minimum temperature requirements for food/drink preservation
  • knowledge of tribal, federal, state and local sanitary regulations
  • knowledge of basic sanitation in accordance with Indian Health Services requirements
  • ability to understand and accurately relay guest orders via POS
  • strong communication skills and interpersonal abilities
  • ability to deal effectively and professionally with the general public
  • ability to count money/change correctly
  • experience with POS programs preferred
  • detail oriented
  • ability to follow written and oral directions
  • ability to maintain a safe work environment
  • maintains the highest standard of personal hygiene
  • ability to work harmoniously and professionally with coworkers and supervisors

Job Duties

  • Provide excellent customer service through friendly communication and positive interaction
  • engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner
  • approach customers in the table games area only between deals
  • remove empty cups and trash from the gaming area
  • clean casino floor drink stations and equipment while following health and safety regulations
  • replenish supplies such as ice, cups, napkins, and soda bibs as needed
  • stock refrigerating units using FIFO rotation system and replace empty soda bibs
  • attend daily stand-up meetings to understand property communications
  • complete computer assisted training timely
  • complete temperature logs every shift
  • inform supervisor of additional product needs
  • check and report problems with equipment daily
  • operate POS system accurately within the Poker Room
  • maintain cleanliness of cash registers
  • tender and present checks to guests accurately
  • report on punctuality and regular attendance
  • perform other job-related duties as assigned
  • build relationships with guests based on respect and professionalism
  • serve as initial point of contact for guest inquiries
  • resolve guest issues timely ensuring satisfaction
  • possess knowledge and understanding of all products and services offered
