Job Requirements
- No high school diploma or GED required
- minimum of 1 year of service experience in a hotel, full service restaurant, catering facility, or club environment
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand and walk for entire length of shift
- exposure to variable temperatures
- may be required to work in narrow spaces
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of service experience in a hotel, full service restaurant, catering facility, or club environment
- previous experience as suite runner preferred
- strong customer service and communication skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of alcohol service laws and regulations
- reliable and punctual
- ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, holidays, and events
Job Duties
- Prepare suite and ensure all items are in place for guest arrival, including those ordered in advance of the event
- anticipate guests needs, suggest additional items such as appetizers and desserts, and communicate in-suite orders to kitchen and bar staff
- ensure all laws and regulations are being followed, including checking for identification before serving alcohol
- obtain signatures from the suite host on any charges incurred
- stock beverage room and maintain cleanliness and organization
- serve beverages promptly and courteously to guests
- assist in inventory management and restocking as needed
