Job Requirements
- Prior experience as a bartender in a restaurant setting
- previous restaurant management experience
- knowledge of beverage operations and inventory control
- ability to manage staffing and training programs
- proficiency with Ordersmart and Aloha P-Mix systems
- capability to maintain beverage quality and consistency
- strong communication and leadership skills
- understanding of financial cost control for pouring and glassware
- ability to organize and maintain storeroom and bar area
- willingness to work M.O.D. and bartender shifts
- commitment to maintaining alcohol safety standards.

Job Duties
- Works M.O.D. shifts as scheduled
- works bartender shifts as scheduled
- devises side work schedules to assist managers and employees in the maintenance and organization of the bar and lounge
- focuses on 'Top Ten' list to ensure consistency, quality, value, and speed of items
- monitors pricing in Ordersmart for profitability
- monitors all competitors in the market and reports quarterly to GM and owner
- stays current with market trends and advises GM of new product lines
- develops and monitors all beverage menus and recommends updates
- runs promotional incentive contests as needed
- coordinates nightly/weekly beverage pairings or specials
- coordinates and conducts beverage seminars quarterly
- monitors beverage pricing versus Aloha P-Mix
- monitors refrigeration equipment maintenance program
- places all orders for beverage-related items
- completes physical inventory of beverage items
- monitors glassware usage, stocking, and storage and places orders
- maintains labor pool, recruits if necessary, trains staff, motivates and communicates with employees
- ensures personal appearance standards
- completes schedules and evaluates regularly
- maintains audio visual program including music trends, nightly/weekly music and video schedules, and creates theme music evenings
- maintains ambiance items such as furniture, bar stools, tables, candles
- maintains all web site beverage menus
- updates recipes in Ordersmart and ensures accuracy of Aloha P-Mix
- ensures product consistency and excellence
- maintains Alcohol Safety Program ensuring all employees have completed required training and documentation is filed appropriately.
