Job Requirements

  • Five years of restaurant or hospitality industry experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, busy, and occasionally stressful environment
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead and mentor a team
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Willingness to work varied shifts including weekends and holidays
  • At least 21 years of age
  • Ability to obtain a valid Nevada Non-Gaming Card, Nevada Alcohol Awareness Card, and Nevada Food Handler Safety Training Card
  • Ability to analyze financial statements and modify operations to meet financial goals
  • Ability to maintain a sense of urgency attitude for task completion
  • Exceptional personality, attitude and excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Polished, professional, friendly with multitasking and ability to take initiative in high pressure environment
  • Superior organizational and follow up skills with extreme attention to detail
  • Strong email, PC and internet skills including MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Dedication to hospitality-driven environment

Job Duties

  • Manage the operations of all beverage services within Maroon, including bar operations, lounge service, and guest-facing beverage programs
  • Open and close shifts
  • Ensure maintenance and cleanliness of restaurant and communicate expectations to all support departments
  • Manage the delivery and measurement of guest service consistent with the company’s core service standards and brand attributes
  • Interact with guests frequently to ensure satisfaction and enjoyment of dining and beverage experience
  • Provide input into research, development, evaluation and implementation of new products, services, technology and processes
  • Create a work environment that promotes teamwork, performance feedback, recognition, mutual respect and employee satisfaction
  • Coordinate and implement SOPs, cocktail/mixology programs, wine service protocols, and training tailored to Maroon
  • Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of Maroon bar areas and equipment
  • Prepare daily orders and maintain appropriate product levels
  • Support recruiting, hiring, training, and retention for beverage staff assigned to Maroon
  • Liaise with cross-departmental SAHARA teams as needed for Maroon operations
  • Perform all other job-related duties as requested
