  • Experience with staff training and leadership
  • Understanding of fiscal budget management
  • Ability to maintain compliance with health and safety standards
  • Strong organizational and communication skills

Job Duties

  • Monitor daily beverage operations including budgeting, guest service standards, and marketing strategy implementation
  • Manage inventory and ensure appropriate par levels for supplies including liquor, beer, wine, and equipment
  • Recruit, interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, and coach beverage staff
  • Drive employee engagement through coaching and development initiatives
  • Collaborate with Human Resources on employee relations and staff performance management
  • Maintain the highest standards of health, sanitation, and cleanliness in all beverage areas
  • Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and MGM Resorts service policies
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of beverage products including liquor brands, beers, wines, non-alcoholic selections, preparation methods, and presentation standards
