Job Duties
- Monitor daily beverage operations including budgeting, guest service standards, and marketing strategy implementation
- Manage inventory and ensure appropriate par levels for supplies including liquor, beer, wine, and equipment
- Recruit, interview, select, train, supervise, counsel, and coach beverage staff
- Drive employee engagement through coaching and development initiatives
- Collaborate with Human Resources on employee relations and staff performance management
- Maintain the highest standards of health, sanitation, and cleanliness in all beverage areas
- Ensure compliance with state liquor laws and MGM Resorts service policies
- Maintain extensive knowledge of beverage products including liquor brands, beers, wines, non-alcoholic selections, preparation methods, and presentation standards
