Job Duties

Manage all beer and wine sales and day-to-day operations within budgeted guidelines and to the highest standards
Maintain an acceptable level of inventory to maximize sales and control out of date product by proper ordering
Control inventory levels using automated ordering system (DAX) and routine smart counts
Work with beverage vendors on product displays and seasonal products
Preserve excellent levels of internal and external customer service
Identify customers' needs and respond proactively
Handle invoices and pricing integrity within the Beer and Wine category
Ensure proper food levels in the café with communication to the Deli Department
Provide new employee training via RAMP certifications and ongoing employee training
Train employees on products and procedures within the beer and wine department
Establish employee schedules to ensure proper coverage
Maintain good relationships with beverage and wine vendors
Communicate department concerns and objectives with store management and supervisors
Comply with all health, safety, and PLCB regulations
Enforce and train employees on alcohol sales policies and identification verification
Greet customers and observe their needs while working
Abide by all Redner's Markets policies and procedures
