Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • extensive experience in beverage management or hospitality industry
  • familiarity with latest mixology trends and bar equipment
  • strong cost management experience
  • ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations in food and beverage operations

Job Duties

  • Ordering all beverages and managing receiving processes
  • conducting inventories and organizing beverage stock
  • managing beverage cost control and budget oversight
  • overseeing beverage team training, classes, and pre-shift meetings
  • assisting team members and guests with beverage recommendations and pairings
  • managing multiple priorities and exercising sound judgment under pressure
  • ensuring exceptional guest service at all times
  • maintaining health and safety standards and sanitation procedures
  • anticipating and fulfilling customer needs with passion for luxury service
  • implementing creative logistical solutions as needed
  • collaborating with Food & Beverage Manager on Beverage Partnerships and Programs
  • working with vendors to design unique and cost-effective menus
  • overseeing food and beverage areas within the hotel
  • coordinating with Programming and Sales for beverage sponsorships
  • supporting Sales team for beverage selection and service during events
  • partnering with marketing, social media, and PR to boost revenue and interest
  • ensuring compliance with company service standards
  • performing duties requiring speed, organization, and efficiency
  • assisting in other hotel and restaurant areas as needed
  • participating in vetting and hiring new employees
  • managing bar scheduling and staff allocation
