Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a beverage manager, bar manager, or similar role in the hospitality industry
  • 2-5 years restaurant experience
  • Ability to work on holidays, weekends, and alternate shifts
  • Physical ability to stand for extended periods, walk, push, lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, or crouch
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a beverage manager, bar manager, or similar role in hospitality industry
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of beverage inventory management and cost control
  • Creativity in developing drink menus and cocktail recipes
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to handle guest concerns professionally
  • Familiarity with safety standards such as MSDS and OSHA

Job Duties

  • Interview, select, train, schedule, coach and support associates according to brand standards and HHM core values
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, garnishes, and bar supplies
  • Order stock ensuring timely and cost-effective process while avoiding shortages or waste
  • Monitor product rotation and expiration to ensure freshness and quality
  • Develop and update creative beverage menus that align with brand concept and customer preferences
  • Experiment with new cocktail recipes, signature drinks, and seasonal specials
  • Provide recommendations to kitchen and management for food pairing with drinks
  • Ensure guests have exceptional beverage experience including prompt service, consistency, and personalized recommendations
  • Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and courteously
  • Monitor bar atmosphere to ensure it remains welcoming, clean, and well-maintained
  • Practice safe work habits following MSDS and OSHA standards
  • Perform other duties as requested by management
