  • must have alcohol serving capability
  • basic knowledge of hospitality principles

  • preferred certifications in beverage-related areas
  • fluency in English

  • certifications in beer, wine, and/or spirits preferred
  • fluent in oral and written English
  • manual coordination to punch buttons, grasp items, and balance and carry trays
  • vision to see details and observe restaurant environment
  • ability to perform multiple tasks and follow verbal and written instructions
  • highly organized and detail-oriented in busy settings
  • tact and understanding in dealing with customer service issues

Job Duties

  • Showcase an inherent desire to take care of others
  • manage the beverage program including ordering, inventory management, staff education, and research and development
  • curate beer, wine, and spirits selections in collaboration with the Director of Beverage
  • uphold standard operating procedures and ensure product quality and execution
  • manage beverage profit and loss and adhere to cost and sales budgets
  • lead on the floor during service as an owner and general manager
  • assist in training, managing, and coaching hourly staff
  • ensure staff adherence to hospitality and service standards
  • cultivate a positive work environment modeling kindness and empathy
  • assist in opening and closing the restaurant and managing the floor
  • participate in recruiting, hiring, and staff development
  • address staff inquiries and grievances promptly
  • continuously observe and enhance guest experience
  • deliver world-class hospitality with urgency and efficiency
  • assist in service execution including greeting guests and managing host and expo duties
  • remain attentive to guests throughout the dining experience
  • multitask and stay organized under pressure
  • respond to guest inquiries on phone and in person
  • maintain a clean, professional appearance and friendly demeanor
  • perform other assigned duties as needed
