Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in related field from four-year college or university
  • Minimum of four years supervisory experience
  • Four years beverage or equivalent experience
  • Prior gaming experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Flexible to work all shifts including holidays, nights, weekends, and overtime
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to present information and respond to questions effectively
  • Strong mathematical skills including computations and interpretations
  • Ability to interact with guests, staff, and colleagues and resolve conflicts diplomatically
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Colorado Gaming License
  • Ability to successfully pass TiPS Responsible Gaming course

Job Duties

  • Supervise and manage staff in the Beverage department
  • Develop and implement operational goals and monitor performance and profit objectives
  • Create effective and efficient schedules while maintaining labor costs and meeting staffing objectives
  • Establish product menu and record product inventories
  • Maintain beverage department policies and procedures to control beverage and labor costs
  • Communicate with other departments to coordinate activities or resolve problems
  • Provide beverage support for special events
  • Monitor inventory of all beverage products
  • Assist in budget process and recommend budget compliance strategies
  • Promote superior customer service and ensure department standards are followed
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and report issues
  • Maintain confidentiality in departmental matters
  • Develop staff and provide training programs
  • Manage rewards and recognition programs
  • Evaluate team members and provide constructive feedback
  • Interview, hire, and schedule staff according to business needs
  • Determine work procedures and expedite workflow
  • Handle employee performance including disciplining, coaching, and counseling
