- prior experience in customer service preferred
- basic math skills
- ability to operate POS systems
- strong communication skills
- food handling certification
- physical ability to perform job duties
- flexibility to work varied shifts
- adherence to company dress code and safety standards
Job Qualifications
- Background in customer service is advantageous
- history of handling cash is beneficial
- barista experience is not obligatory
- sound mathematical skills and the ability to count accurately
- skillfulness in working independently with limited oversight
- proficient English reading, communication skills, and ability to follow recipes
- obtaining the Food Handling Certification
- conforming to the designated attire expectations
- ability to meet physical demands including lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and extended walking and standing
- willingness to utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) when required
Job Duties
- Skillfully operate a register/POS system to manage transactions, ensuring accuracy in handling cash and credit card payments
- extend a friendly welcome and aid to clients, predicting their needs to create a satisfactory interaction
- carry out the brand's specifications in the preparation and delivery of coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- ensure that the food items are prepared and served in line with the establishment's guidelines
- balance and manage the cash drawer, document transaction details on the cashier's slip, and execute deposit procedures
- adhere to the policies and procedures regarding cash management at Aramark
- install and dismantle coffee bar, workstations, or retail space in a way that promotes cleanliness and structured arrangement
- ensure a sanitary work environment by consistently disinfecting and cleaning tools and surfaces
- stock up on beverage coolers, ready-to-eat items, serving utensils, and sauces
- follow recommended protocols for food and drink handling to maintain sanitation and avoid potential hazards
- undertake miscellaneous assignments as directed by managers
