Job Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
- must obtain and maintain appropriate licensing with the Alcohol Awareness Card
- ability to work in a team environment
- ability to communicate in English, both written and oral
- flexible working all shifts including holidays, nights, and weekend hours as business needs dictate
- previous cocktail server experience preferred or any combination of education, training, or experience that provides required knowledge, skills, and abilities
- ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, reaching overhead, bending, crouching, kneeling, balancing, lifting/carrying 25lbs or less
- ability to use both hands with finger dexterity and vision skills including distance, depth perception, field of vision, and color vision
- ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas
Job Qualifications
- Previous cocktail server experience preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and oral
- basic reading, math, writing, and task completion skills
- skills in clerical work, compiling, coordination, analyzing, precision working, following instructions, memorization, problem solving, independent judgment, and decision making
- ability to work in a team environment
- flexible availability to work various shifts including holidays, nights, and weekends
- minimum of 21 years of age
- must obtain and maintain Alcohol Awareness Card
Job Duties
- Provide proper and professional cocktail service to all guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner
- promote and document orders for drinks, reciting selections of all 'call' and 'premium' brands as requested
- pass on order to bartender, properly garnish and deliver to guest in a timely manner
- always maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment including removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, emptying garbage, sweeping/mopping floors, scrubbing/sanitizing equipment
- maintain proper and adequate set-up of bar daily, before, after and during shift
- listen and respond to guest inquiries using a positive, clear speaking voice
- interact with co-workers and customers in a professional and polite manner
- any other duties as assigned within the scope of this position
