Job Qualifications
- One to two years of hospitality experience preferred
- excellent people and communication skills
- proven experience handling stressful situations with outstanding customer service
- willingness to learn new food and beverage programs
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- ability to interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and procedure manuals
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and associates
- common sense reasoning skills to carry out instructions
Job Duties
- Mix and serve a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- assist guests with food and beverage selections and provide recommendations
- correctly fill drink and food orders
- handle payment processing via cash, card, and tab operations
- operate bar and beverage cart equipment properly
- perform beverage cart and bar setup, service, and breakdown procedures
- monitor guest alcohol consumption to prevent over-serving
- ensure alcoholic beverages are not served to guests under 21
- maintain beverage and snack quality and service standards
- practice safe beverage cart driving techniques
