Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- 21 years or older preferred
- Some experience in golf, customer service, or food and beverage
- Knowledge of liquor laws
- Ability to manage money accurately
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Must obtain City of Thornton liquor training
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and holidays
- Physical capability to lift, carry up to 24 pounds and work outdoors in all weather
- Valid driver’s license or ability to drive golf carts and other utility vehicles
Job Qualifications
- At least 18 years of age
- 21 years or older preferred
- Some knowledge of golf, customer service, or food and beverage experience preferred
- Training or schooling in food service or customer relations highly desirable
- Knowledge of city policies and golf course rules
- Ability to operate required equipment safely
- Ability to perform basic math
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- City of Thornton liquor training certification
Job Duties
- Serves food and beverages to customers in the clubhouse, on the patio, or from the beverage cart
- Provides excellent customer service to members and guests
- Maintains records of sales, cash tickets, and member charges
- Performs daily inventory and notifies staff of restocking needs
- Prepares and serves food and beverage orders including alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Maintains cleanliness and sanitation of service areas and tables
- Ensures compliance with liquor laws and assists with special events and banquet setup
