Job Requirements
- Must be able to stand, walk, and perform physical activities for extended periods
- Ability to work in varying temperatures and environments with potential exposure to dust, fumes, or gases
- Capable of climbing ladders, squatting, kneeling, reaching, twisting, bending, and folding/unfolding
- Able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Effective communication skills including talking and hearing with sufficient visual acuity
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in food and beverage service
- Certification in alcohol and food safety awareness
- Valid driver’s license to operate golf cart
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong commitment to ethical work standards
Job Duties
- Maintain exceptional food and beverage service standards as outlined in training programs
- Greet members by name and introduce yourself to guests, ensuring a polite and friendly demeanor
- Provide timely and attentive coverage of assigned course areas, visiting each group every 4-5 holes
- Assist members and guests with requests, such as directions or trash disposal
- Stock the beverage cart with food, beverages, ice, and supplies before service
- Operate the golf cart safely following guidelines and policies
- Collect payments and accurately reconcile daily transactions
- Document product spills and waste with daily usage sheets
- Maintain knowledge of available products and upsell where applicable
- Use tee sheets to identify members and create personalized experiences
- Communicate with Food & Beverage Director about special requests or issues
- Clean and sanitize the cart at the end of each shift per health standards
- Request and restock supplies to maintain proper service levels
- Assist fellow employees and participate as a supportive team member
- Report member or guest complaints promptly and practice service recovery
- Follow rules of golf etiquette when approaching golf groups
