Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in a barback or hospitality role preferred
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, noisy, smoke-filled environment
- Compliance with all company policies and procedures
- AES and gaming card required

Job Duties
- Knowledge, understanding, and adherence to company and departmental policies and procedures
- To assist the bartender(s) and cocktail staff in performance of their duties
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of bar on a daily basis including before, during and after shift
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of guest areas and equipment at all times during shift including: removing empty glasses/bottles, cleaning ashtrays, picking up and dumping garbage, sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing equipment
- Maintain and organized bar
- Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items and hotel services
- Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner
- Ability to interact with the public and provide excellent customer service
- Ability to have and make conversation
- Know guidelines for serving alcohol with care
- Knowing and conveying hotel activities to guests
- Perform specific tasks related to bars as assigned: organizing, ordering, stocking and cleaning
- Ability to lift and carrying product by hand as well as with carts or hand trucks
- Maintain and organize bars and storerooms
- Refill chemicals such as hand soap or glass washer chemicals
- Ability to operate a glassware washing machine
- Ability to re-fill ice bins and beer bins, utilizing ice machines
- Knowledge of product
- Ability to operate a glassware washer
- Answering phones
- Maintain proper inventory of product
- Maintain and neat, professional image and appearance at all times
- All other duties as assigned
