Job Requirements
- Master's degree or Bachelor’s degree in hospitality-related discipline with substantial professional experience
- Minimum ten years of progressively responsible experience including supervisory roles
- Ability to teach in person on campus
- Commitment to diversity and inclusion
- Ability to adapt to new instructional methods
- Effective communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Master's degree in the assigned teaching field or Bachelor's degree in hospitality plus significant professional experience
- Nationally recognized certificates or licenses such as Sommelier or Cicerone preferred
- Experience in teaching or instructional roles
- Ability to engage diverse student populations
- Strong communication and technological skills
Job Duties
- Teach 3+ credit hours
- Prepare and deliver course materials and lesson plans
- Grade student work and provide timely feedback
- Address student questions and provide academic support
- Infuse technology effectively into coursework
- Interact with diverse groups of students, faculty, and staff
- Comply with university policies on instruction and evaluations
