Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment preferred
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Capacity to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Basic math and inventory skills
- Willingness to follow all safety and sanitation guidelines
- Physical capability to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting and bending

Job Duties
- Prepare appetizers, sandwiches, calzones, pizza, grilled, and pasta dishes according to Bertucci's specifications
- Ensure food rotation, set-up, break-down, and stock wood
- Present products and clean utensils and general work area
- Monitor temperature of ovens, coolers, and freezers
- Inspect stock levels and review prep sheets with the manager to establish daily prep list
- Store, unpack, and retrieve food items in appropriate storage areas
- Report malfunctioning equipment and ensure they are in sound working order
- Maintain sanitary work area and comply with state health department standards
