Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work a 9-hour shift standing and remaining active
- Ability to communicate by speaking, reading, and writing English
- Ability to work well under pressure
- Able to perform some heavy lifting (25-30lbs)
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area
- Willingness to assist teammates as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or hospitality is a plus
- Ability to communicate effectively in English
- Basic math skills for cash handling
- Responsible alcohol service knowledge is preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duties
- Set-up and break-down of the dining room and service stations
- Clearing and resetting tables
- Performing side work assignments
- General cleaning of the work area
- Keeping tables, floor, chairs, and service station clean, neat, and organized
- Assisting other employees as needed
- Pre-busing tables
- Courteously greeting customers and informing them of food promotions and specials
- Answering questions and making suggestions regarding food and beverages
- Visually inspecting all products to ensure garnishes are appropriate and food is eye-appealing
- Removing dirty dishes between courses and at the end of the meal
- Reporting food and service complaints to the manager
- Stocking silverware, small containers, food products, garnishes, condiments, and various items
