Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to do some heavy lifting (25-30 lbs)
  • ability to work well under pressure
  • ability to stand and remain active for a 9-hour shift
  • ability to speak, read and write English
  • able to work well in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous serving experience in a restaurant preferred
  • strong customer service and communication skills
  • ability to work well in fast-paced environments
  • knowledge of responsible alcohol service preferred
  • experience with proper cash handling preferred

Job Duties

  • Set up and break down of the dining room and service stations
  • clearing and resetting tables
  • completing side work assignments
  • general cleaning of the work area
  • constantly keeping tables, floor, chairs, and service station clean, neat and organized
  • assist other employees as needed
  • pre-bus tables
  • courteously greet customers and inform them of current food promotions and specials
  • answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and beverages
  • visually inspect all products to ensure garnishes are added appropriately and food is visually appealing
  • remove dirty dishes between courses and at the end of the meal
  • report all food and service complaints to the manager
  • stock silverware, small containers, food products, garnishes, and condiments
