Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to lift 25-30 lbs
  • ability to work well under pressure
  • ability to remain standing and active for a 9-hour shift
  • ability to speak, read, and write English
  • able to work well in a fast-paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • previous experience in customer service or food service preferred
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to work well in a team environment
  • basic math skills for handling payments
  • knowledge of responsible alcohol service is a plus
  • proficiency in cash handling preferred

Job Duties

  • Set-up and break-down of the dining room and service stations
  • clearing and resetting tables
  • performing side work assignments
  • general cleaning of the work area
  • constantly keeping tables, floor, chairs, and service stations clean, neat, and organized
  • assisting other employees as needed
  • pre-busing tables
  • courteously greeting customers and informing them of current food promotions and specials
  • answering questions and making suggestions regarding food and beverages
  • visually inspecting all products to ensure garnishes are added appropriately and food is eye-appealing
  • removing dirty dishes between courses and at the end of the meal
  • reporting all food and service complaints to the manager
  • stocking silverware, small containers, food products, garnishes, and condiments
