Job Requirements

Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
- attention to detail

- strong teamwork and communication skills
- basic knowledge of kitchen safety and sanitation standards
Job Duties
- Stack clean dishes on racks ensuring clean water and detergent are used in the dishwasher
- deliver clean dishes to designated areas as time permits
- rinse bus buckets and clean and dry pots pans utensils dough boxes
- remove trash and maintain general cleanliness of the work area
- receive unload and rotate products from vendors as needed
- perform general location maintenance
- assist cooks with prep as needed
- prepare dishwashing machine daily including inspection for cracked or broken equipment and dishes
- identify and discard broken or cracked dishes
- monitor dishwashing machine operation and report malfunctions promptly
- clean dishwasher and surrounding area throughout the day and at close of business
