- Previous experience in a restaurant or similar environment preferred but not required
Job Duties
- Stack clean dishes on racks ensuring clean water and detergent are used in dishwasher
- Deliver clean dishes to designated areas as time permits
- Rinse bus buckets clean pots pans utensils dough boxes trash removal and general cleaning of work area
- Receive unload and rotate products from vendors as needed
- Perform general location maintenance
- Assist cooks with prep as needed
- Prepare dishwashing machine for daily activity by inspecting for cracked or broken equipment
- Identify and discard broken or cracked dishes appropriately
- Monitor dishwashing machine operation report malfunctions promptly
- Clean dishwasher and surrounding area throughout day and at close of business
