Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • ability to perform some heavy lifting (25-30lbs)
  • ability to work well under pressure
  • ability to remain standing and active for a 9 hour shift
  • ability to communicate (speak, read and write English)
  • able to work well in a fast paced environment

Job Qualifications

  • Some experience in bar or restaurant service preferred
  • sales skills
  • responsible alcohol service knowledge
  • responsible cash handling
  • ability to communicate effectively in English

Job Duties

  • Pouring drinks only when slip printer produces an order
  • serving food at the bar
  • preparing condiments for drinks
  • changing beer and tonic kegs
  • general cleaning of the work area
  • constantly keeping the area clean and neat including tables, floor, chairs, and service station
  • assist other employees as needed
  • pre-bussing tables
  • stocks liquor and bar items following delivery
  • prepares and equips the bar for daily activity by replenishing glassware overhead, cutting and slicing garnishes, and obtaining needed beverage supplies
  • maintains and balances cash drawer ensuring all financial transactions are correct
  • serves alcohol responsibly by observing customer’s level of alcohol intake and terminating further consumption as needed
  • rotating stock
  • preparing drinks, batching recipes and mixing to product specifications
