Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in benefits administration or human resources
  • proficiency with HRIS systems and benefits enrollment software
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to conduct employee orientations and individual support sessions
  • strong organizational skills
  • ability to manage confidential information
  • attention to detail
  • compliance with applicable laws and regulations

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in benefits administration or human resources
  • strong knowledge of employee benefit programs and related regulations
  • proficiency with HRIS systems and benefits enrollment software
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to conduct effective employee education sessions
  • strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • attention to detail and accuracy in processing benefit transactions

Job Duties

  • Administer comprehensive employee health benefit programs across affiliated entities
  • conduct engaging benefits orientations and provide one-on-one assistance with enrollment systems and claim concerns
  • create and implement a proactive benefits communication plan
  • accurately review, approve, and process benefit elections and qualifying life events via HRIS system
  • verify and reconcile monthly premium statements and resolve administrative challenges with carrier representatives
  • play a key role in preparation, education, and execution of the annual open enrollment period
  • assist in completing essential benefits reporting requirements including annual ACA reporting
