Job Requirements
- high school diploma or GED
- 6 months customer service experience or 6 months office environment experience
- clear and concise verbal and written communication skills
- ability to provide concierge level service
- experience evaluating and responding to customer situations
- data entry or typing experience
- strong interpersonal skills and independent decision-making capabilities
- analytical and organizational skills
- ability to spend 90 percent of scheduled time on phone
- proficiency with web and PC applications
- preferred experience in healthcare customer service
- familiarity with health insurance products
- knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy

Job Duties
- handle incoming calls from members and physicians
- respond promptly and accurately to telephone and written inquiries
- conduct research to resolve member questions
- maintain detailed and accurate records of interactions
- provide concierge-level service to maximize member benefits
- navigate healthcare systems to assist members effectively
- document and enter data accurately into computer systems
