Job Requirements

  • Associate degree in culinary, baking or pastry arts preferred
  • 2 years of leadership experience in a team environment
  • Ability to work in multiple regional locations
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule according to business needs
  • Must have reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
  • Frequent walking, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead
  • Able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, move and carry up to 75 pounds
  • Must be able to taste product for quality assurance such as buttercream, cake, cupcake batter, and cookie dough

Job Duties

  • Lead and motivate the culinary team in decoration skills including frosting and inscribing cakes and cupcakes
  • Assign daily decoration tasks to team members and ensure their completion
  • Ensure all food is prepared, handled, and stored according to required food safety standards
  • Develop and train team members on specialized decoration techniques
  • Maintain a fun, lively, and celebratory work environment
  • Work in an organized and fast-paced manner to meet daily bakery demands
  • Taste products for quality assurance such as buttercream, cake, cupcake batter, and cookie dough
