Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in hospitality or customer service preferred
- Ability to handle physically demanding tasks
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends
- Adherence to company grooming and appearance standards
- Knowledge of safety and emergency procedures
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry luggage safely
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to handle luggage and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of local area and attractions is an asset
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to follow safety and security protocols
- Basic phone handling and guest service skills
Job Duties
- Open and close vehicle doors for guests
- Check guest luggage for both day and overnight visits
- Assist guests with storing and retrieving their luggage including from vehicles
- Utilize bell carts to transfer luggage and packages to and from rooms, vehicles, and loading areas
- Maintain and clean the designated lobby station and baggage room
- Ensure lobby area and front interior/exterior of hotel is neat and clean
- Stand by ready to assist guests, greeting and welcoming them
- Provide travel directions, recommendations for local attractions and services
- Answer phones to assist PBX and guest calls
- Restock supplies at front desk, business center, and grab-and-go areas
- Promptly report emergencies, accidents, injuries, missing articles, damage, mechanical problems, and safety hazards to management
- Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance according to company standards
- Adhere to hotel taxi stand requirements and company policies
- Follow safety and security procedures
- Know department fire prevention and emergency procedures
- Use protective equipment
- Report unsafe conditions to supervisors
- Report accidents or property damage to supervisors
- Assist other front desk personnel as needed
- Perform any related duties as requested by supervisors or managers
