Job Requirements
- Stand, walk, and move continuously for extended periods
- Handle luggage carts and lift items up to 50 pounds
- Perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, pushing, and pulling
Job Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to operate standard and manual transmission vehicles
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous experience in customer service or hotel operations is a plus
Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly and courteously, providing assistance with luggage and personal belongings
- Escort guests to their rooms and familiarize them with hotel features and amenities
- Deliver packages, messages, and other items as required
- Safely park and retrieve vehicles, adhering to ticketing and inspection protocols
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bell stand and valet areas
- Record guest service details accurately in logs and forms
- Prepare for group arrivals and departures, ensuring proper luggage handling and room readiness
- Monitor pedestrian traffic and patrol public areas, guest floors, and perimeters
- Identify and report safety hazards promptly
- Adhere to hotel life safety systems and emergency procedures
- Address minor maintenance issues such as replacing light bulbs or handling minor plumbing concerns
- Assist Front Desk staff with calls, directions, taxi requests, and guest inquiries
- Collaborate with Housekeeping to maintain public spaces
- Complete event setups, break downs and servicing of meetings as directed by the General Manager
- Communicate effectively using radio and other tools
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the General Manager or Front Desk
