Job Requirements

  • Must be a naturally enthusiastic, centered, and organized person
  • Must possess excellent communication skills with a pleasant personality
  • Must be able to see, hear and speak clearly
  • Must be able to lift and carry at least 50 lbs
  • Must have valid California driver’s license and an acceptable driving record
  • High school diploma or equivalent acceptable experience
  • Valid Alcohol Server Certification within 30 days of hire

Job Qualifications

  • Valid California driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to operate basic office equipment including computer, fax, copier, and scanner
  • Pleasant personality with ability to make frequent eye contact
  • Ability to write, read, count, and file alphabetically and numerically with precision
  • Valid Alcohol Server Certification within 30 days of hire

Job Duties

  • Receive guests warmly and politely and use guests' names whenever possible
  • Transport guests' luggage to and from rooms ensuring safety and proper handling
  • Explain guest room features including TV operation, mini bar, safe, and drape functions
  • Point out the nearest emergency exit to guests
  • Conduct self professionally adhering to standards, house rules, fire regulations and procedures
  • Report to shifts on time and notify supervisor if unable to report
  • Store and retrieve luggage, boxes, and golf clubs for guests
  • Complete guests' and visitors' deliveries as assigned
  • Deliver messages to guests' rooms or meeting rooms
  • Deliver mail, newspapers, and departmental deliveries maintaining logs
  • Maintain an orderly workplace and ensure equipment cleanliness including bell carts
  • Execute room changes efficiently and courteously at management's direction
  • Perform other associated duties as required
  • Remain at assigned post until summoned
  • Monitor lobby appearance and report issues
  • Complete gift or amenity deliveries as directed
  • Open exterior doors for arriving guests
  • Interact sincerely and warmly with guests, maintaining eye contact and a smile
  • Follow and deliver 5 Star service standards anticipating guest needs
