Job Requirements

  • High school diploma
  • Prior experience in hospitality
  • Valid State of New Mexico driver’s license
  • Clean driving record
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English
  • Physical ability to carry heavy luggage and perform physical tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

  • Prior hospitality experience preferably in a similar position
  • High school diploma
  • Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize, organize and follow-up

  • Ability to follow directions thoroughly
  • Understanding of guest service needs
  • Ability to work cohesively as part of a team

  • Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data
  • Thorough knowledge of hotel services and amenities
  • Ability to provide clear directions
  • Ability to drive all hotel vehicle types
  • Fluency in English required, additional languages preferred
  • Physical ability to transport up to 60 pounds and perform various physical movements
  • Valid New Mexico driver’s license with a clean driving record

Job Duties

  • Transport guest luggage to/from guestrooms
  • Escort guests to rooms and inform guests of all hotel services and features
  • Drive, park and retrieve guest vehicles as they arrive and depart
  • Respond promptly to guests’ immediate needs upon arrival and throughout their stay
  • Maintain knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures and standards
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and maintain positive guest relations
  • Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
  • Assist in locating and managing guest luggage
  • Explain room features, safety procedures and hotel amenities
  • Deliver items such as messages, mail, packages and flowers to guest rooms
  • Communicate parking procedures and assist with vehicle loading/unloading
  • Ensure security of vehicles and keys
  • Operate the company vehicle to drive guests to local attractions and restaurants
  • Perform other duties as required
