Job Requirements

High school diploma
Prior experience in hospitality
Valid State of New Mexico driver’s license
Clean driving record
Ability to communicate effectively in English
Physical ability to carry heavy luggage and perform physical tasks
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Reliable and punctual
Strong interpersonal skills
Commitment to superior guest service standards

Job Qualifications

Prior hospitality experience preferably in a similar position
High school diploma
Ability to perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
Ability to prioritize, organize and follow-up
Strong problem-solving skills and good judgment
Ability to follow directions thoroughly
Understanding of guest service needs
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Maintain confidentiality of guest information and hotel data
Thorough knowledge of hotel services and amenities
Ability to provide clear directions
Ability to drive all hotel vehicle types
Fluency in English required, additional languages preferred
Physical ability to transport up to 60 pounds and perform various physical movements
Valid New Mexico driver’s license with a clean driving record

Job Duties

Transport guest luggage to/from guestrooms
Escort guests to rooms and inform guests of all hotel services and features
Drive, park and retrieve guest vehicles as they arrive and depart
Respond promptly to guests’ immediate needs upon arrival and throughout their stay
Maintain knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures and standards
Anticipate guests’ needs and maintain positive guest relations
Resolve guest complaints ensuring guest satisfaction
Maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas
Assist in locating and managing guest luggage
Explain room features, safety procedures and hotel amenities
Deliver items such as messages, mail, packages and flowers to guest rooms
Communicate parking procedures and assist with vehicle loading/unloading
Ensure security of vehicles and keys
Operate the company vehicle to drive guests to local attractions and restaurants
Perform other duties as required
