Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift heavy luggage and stand for extended periods
  • Good physical condition and stamina
  • Friendly and helpful attitude
  • Strong communication skills
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Ability to follow safety and operational guidelines
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record if operating vehicles
  • Previous experience in guest services or valet preferred

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous experience in hospitality or customer service roles is advantageous
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain a friendly and energetic demeanor
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Valid driver’s license if driving is required

Job Duties

  • Greet and escort arriving and departing guests to and from their accommodations
  • Retrieve and transport guest luggage
  • Park and retrieve guest vehicles following appropriate valet policies and procedures
  • Inspect guest rooms and acquaint guests with these rooms and their features
  • Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Organize and store luggage according to guidelines
  • Ensure management or leadership team is kept aware of any relevant guest or departmental feedback
  • Ensure messages and faxes are regularly delivered
  • Assist with room moves, special luggage deliveries or pulls, and attend lobby and front door as needed
  • Drive property-designated vehicles to and from guest destinations
  • Assist in maintenance, appearance and functionality of equipment
