Job Description
The Bell Person position is a vital role within the hospitality industry, specifically in a hotel setting. Job Requirements
- Graduation from high school or equivalent education
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer service is beneficial
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to follow safety and security procedures
- Willingness to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Maintain confidentiality and professional behavior
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the hotel
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma preferred
- Proficient knowledge of the English language
- Good telephone communication skills
- Ability to handle customer inquiries with patience, tact, and diplomacy
- Prior hospitality or communications experience preferred
- Strong customer service orientation

Job Duties
- Welcome and acknowledge each guest with a smile and friendly verbal greeting using the guest's name
- Address guests' service needs in a professional, positive, and timely manner
- Assist guests with luggage handling and help carry luggage in and out of the hotel
- Walk guests to their rooms, point out hotel attractions, and orient them to room features
- Engage guests in conversation about their stay and assist with concierge referrals
- Assist guests with disabilities according to guidelines by providing physical and communication support
- Follow all company policies and procedures including safety, security, and emergency protocols
- Maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
- Perform any related duties as assigned by supervisors or management
