Job Requirements

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Must be able to walk quickly and/or climb stairs while carrying luggage
  • Must be able to work outdoors under a covered parkway in either extreme heat or cold

Job Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of customer service experience
  • Proficient conversation English language skills required
  • Must have valid Driver's License

Job Duties

  • Opening the front door for guests, direct them to the check-in desk
  • Greet and escort arriving and departing guests to and from their accommodations in a prompt, friendly and informative manner
  • Organize, store, retrieve and transport guest luggage with care
  • Assist with loading and unloading guest vehicles
  • Carefully inspect, record and drive valet vehicles to and from the designated valet parking areas
  • Inspect guest rooms and acquaint guests with the room features and amenities of the hotel
  • Respond to guest inquiries in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
  • Assist with room moves, special deliveries, and dry cleaning delivery
  • Provide accurate directions, maps, brochures, etc
  • Verbally pass along all appropriate information to the Guest Services Manager/Bell Captains regarding any relevant feedback from guests or other departments
  • Coordinate the traffic of vehicles in front of the hotel (guests' cars, limousines, taxis, minivans, buses)
  • Provide car valet service: drive the guests' cars to and back from the Hotel's designated outsourced garage
  • Maintain good relationship with all the departments of the hotel
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy work area at all times (including the lobby and the area of the hotel entrance)
