Job Requirements
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to walk quickly and/or climb stairs while carrying luggage
- Must be able to work outdoors under a covered parkway in either extreme heat or cold
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of customer service experience
- Proficient conversation English language skills required
- Must have valid Driver's License
Job Duties
- Opening the front door for guests, direct them to the check-in desk
- Greet and escort arriving and departing guests to and from their accommodations in a prompt, friendly and informative manner
- Organize, store, retrieve and transport guest luggage with care
- Assist with loading and unloading guest vehicles
- Carefully inspect, record and drive valet vehicles to and from the designated valet parking areas
- Inspect guest rooms and acquaint guests with the room features and amenities of the hotel
- Respond to guest inquiries in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Assist with room moves, special deliveries, and dry cleaning delivery
- Provide accurate directions, maps, brochures, etc
- Verbally pass along all appropriate information to the Guest Services Manager/Bell Captains regarding any relevant feedback from guests or other departments
- Coordinate the traffic of vehicles in front of the hotel (guests' cars, limousines, taxis, minivans, buses)
- Provide car valet service: drive the guests' cars to and back from the Hotel's designated outsourced garage
- Maintain good relationship with all the departments of the hotel
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and tidy work area at all times (including the lobby and the area of the hotel entrance)
