Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- one to three months related experience or training
- ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- ability to stand for at least eight hours a day
- ability to run up to 200 yards multiple times a day
- enter and exit customers vehicles frequently
- effective communication skills
- fluency in English
- valid driver’s license held for at least one year
- approved driving record
- ability to work in various environmental conditions
- ability to maintain professionalism and hospitality at all times
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and or training
- ability to read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals
- ability to write routine reports and correspondence
- ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide using American money and units of measurement
- ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to communicate effectively with guests and coworkers
- knowledge of hospitality standards
- ability to work in hot, wet, humid, and loud environments
- valid driver's license held for at least one year prior
- clean driving record
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings and holidays
Job Duties
- Greet all guests upon arrival
- open doors and assist guests or visitors entering and leaving property
- assist arriving and departing guests with luggage to and from rooms promptly
- assist guests in and out of transportation
- maintain security of vehicles and vehicle keys
- promote all hotel functions and facilities
- monitor and direct personal and commercial vehicle traffic on property
- assist departing guests to their transportation
- communicate parking procedures to guests or visitors
- maintain the cleanliness of the valet area
- assist guests with general information
- monitor and maintain safety, security, and cleanliness of parking areas and report any hazards
- identify and explain room features to guests
- supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities and local areas of interest
- follow all company policies and procedures
- transport guest luggage to and from guest rooms and designated bell area
- follow company safety and security policies and report accidents or unsafe conditions
- assist individuals with disabilities
- thank guests with genuine appreciation
- speak clearly and professionally and answer telephones with proper etiquette
- develop and maintain positive working relationships
- comply with quality assurance standards
- stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
- move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects up to 50 pounds
- polish and clean bell carts daily
- check and secure guests' luggage
- perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors
