Job Duties
- Transport guest luggage from arrival to room
- transport guest luggage for room changes
- transport guest luggage to departure point
- assist in locating lost luggage
- tag, store, and retrieve luggage accurately
- explain hotel facilities and features while escorting guests
- identify and explain fire exit and room safety features
- demonstrate room key use
- place guest luggage inside room
- explain guest room features including air conditioning, telephone, television, clock radio, guest services directory, mini-bar, in-room safe, lights, bathroom amenities, valet/laundry services, door lock, ice and vending areas
- offer packing/unpacking and laundry service explanation
- maintain knowledge of hotel functions to direct guests
- provide local transportation information
- maintain log of guest assistance calls
