Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years full-time verifiable driving experience with similar vehicles
- Valid driver's license meeting company insurance requirements
- Must be at least 21 years old, with a minimum of 25 years to operate shuttle or drive guests
- No positive drug or alcohol test results, including pre-employment, random, post-accident or reasonable suspicion
- No more than 2 moving traffic violations in the last 36 months
- No speeding offenses exceeding 25 mph over the limit in the last 36 months
- No DUI convictions within last 5 years
- No history of vehicular homicide, manslaughter or assault
- No operating vehicle with suspended or revoked license
- No use of vehicles in felony commission
- No operating vehicle without owner's permission
- No reckless driving or speed contests
- No leaving scene of accident involving bodily injury or physical damage
- No eluding police officers
- No operating cell phones while driving violations
- Must maintain neat, clean and well-groomed appearance per company standards
- Regular attendance is essential
- Ability to stand and exert mobility for up to 4 hours
- Must lift up to 45 lbs
- Must push and pull carts up to 250 lbs
- Ability to perform physical motions such as bending, stooping and climbing as needed
Job Qualifications
- High school or equivalent education
- Prior hospitality experience preferred
- Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary workplace language
- Good verbal, written and electronic communication skills
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Detail oriented with outstanding organizational and communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Basic computational ability
- Ability to deal effectively with internal and external customers using patience, tact, and diplomacy
- Knowledgeable about Windows OS, MS Office, PMS, PBX, Key system and POS
- Valid driver's license and insurance eligibility for operating motorized or electric vehicles
- Self-driven and able to work independently
Job Duties
- Welcome and escort guests to and from their rooms and assist with luggage
- Inform guests of all safety features and promote outlets when time permits
- Offer information about available services, hotel facilities, points of interest and entertainment attractions
- Store guest luggage upon request and assist with loading and unloading luggage into and out of automobiles
- Call taxis for guests as requested
- Prepare and maintain all tour and delivery paperwork ensuring accuracy and operational standards
- Supervise all group baggage transfers and amenity deliveries
- Maintain the check-in station for appearance, organization and operational effectiveness
- Assist other departments with transporting boxes and supplies
- Promote a positive working environment and follow employee handbook guidelines
- Complete daily maintenance and cleanliness tasks of valet stand, driveway, bell closet and bell carts
- Safely operate guest vehicles from valet area to parking and return guests' vehicles for pick-up, obeying all traffic laws
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager or supervisor
